The activity was planned to create opportunities for international students and Japanese students to meet and collaboratively work toward the successful presentation at the Japanese Speech Contest. Specifically, those who were in International Understanding (Kokusai Rikai) class were asked to provide the Speech Contests contestants with feedbacks on their speech drafts and to help their speech practice. Out of 15 lessons of the International Understanding class, 7 lessons were held to prepare for the Japanese Speech Contest. Furthermore, each student in the International Understanding class took a role in organizing the Japanese Speech Contest.
