However Chinese latecomer firms at a competitive disadvantage need to maintain assimilation and separation simultaneously after the establishment of M&A for achieving managerial synergy and minimizing emergent organizational conflicts, while requires a new trajectory of organizational learning capability building mechanism because of the high employee turnover rate and human resources shortage in China. This paper will embark on an investigation to show how it could be possible for latecomer firms in China to accomplish a fast development by the successful adoption of the external resource, illustrated by a single case study approach of Zhejiang Geely Group Holding Co. Ltd.
