The angle X of the side plate can found by inserting the co-ordinates into the formulas given hereunder. The value thus calculated will be used in drawing guidelines on the work. The angle Y of the miter-joint rule should also be obtained by using the formulas given below. The next operation will be to cut the sides, using the angles as guides, with a miterjoint cutter.
