These researches were carried on for three years from 1972 to 1974. In the reports No. 1 and No. 2, we have analysed the fluctuation of individual ranking and record, the relation between the runner's condition and his record, and the results of inquiries on subjective and objective symptoms of fatigue. In this report No. 3, we analyse three subjects; the fluctuation of individual ranking and record for three steep gradient courses, the individual ranking and record of runners from 30 years of age and upward, and runners' physical and mental conditions. 1. The fluctuation of individual record viewed from the standpoint of ranking shows that runners must take more than two days' interval for rest after running steep rising or falling gradients. 2. Runners from 30 years of age and upward must take more than two days' interval for rest even after running a flat course. But they can keep better ranking and record in running a shorter distance. 3. According to the questionnaire on conditions, none of the runners answered that they were in the best condition. But those who answered that they were in rather good condition achieved better ranking and record. 4. Most of the praticipants in the relay race were highly motivated, but their physical conditions were not well controlled.}, pages = {159--172}, title = {駅伝競走における疲労調査とコンディショニングに関する研究(第3報) : 青森-東京間駅伝競走について}, volume = {15}, year = {1975} }
