 note = {application/pdf, Oribatid communities of a broad-leaved deciduous forest and an artificial conifer forest or chamaecyparis obtusa including their border were investigated in the suburbs of Tokyo. The species number oforibatids was gradually decreased from the center of the deciduous forest to that of the conifer one （65＞56＞52＞48＞43 spp.）. Density of oribatids was higher in the deciduous forest than in the conifer one, and lowest in the border area. Difference in dominant species, result of MGP analysis and preference to vegetations were compared among both the forest and the border area.},
