A questionnaire survey wasconducted with residents of Kudencho housing complex in Yokohama City. 250 elderly people living alone participated inthis study. The results indicated that men's help-seeking preference is lower than women's, and that the elderly who don't touch with social network are more negative to receive services than others who touch with social network even if the levelis low. This result shows \"the difficulty of rejecting supports\", and considering the strategy of supporting them is pressingsubject for saving them from isolation and solitary death. Residents in Kudencho housing complex may have higherhelp-seeking preference than others because some NPO organizations are challenging to support residents recently.
