In the 17th century, operas became popular throughout Europe. In France, operas flourished under the patronage of Louis XIV. Four operas were produced at the time based on the story of Medea, a woman in Greek mythology, who got furiously angry with her husband who had abandoned her and took revenge by killing her rival in love, the rival’s father and her own children. The present study investigated changes in the female image in different periods, by analyzing the scripts of these four operas and the condition of the French society of the time. Why was the opera, Medea, staged repeatedly in spite of the absolute monarchy and the male-dominated society of the time? Usually, royalty and titled nobility, as well as the rich bourgeoisies went to the opera. Operas expressed the ideology and views of women of the ruling class through romantic dramas. European society had been male-dominated since the ancient Greek Era and the status of women in the society further declined after the Renaissance. Operas were a new art form that appeared in the Renaissance period and they were affected by the currents of the times. The stories supposedly reflected views of women in those days. Medea, which had been often chosen as a theme in literature, music, prints and pictures, expressed femininity that was abominated and avoided in Europe, because it threatened the male-dominated order. The theme of Medea expressed fear and awe of women that existed at the bottom of people’s minds, such as Misogyny, which has been a major idea on women in Europe.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_6_full_name_2":{"attribute_name":"著者(ヨミ)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{}],"names":[{"name":"カワサキ(ウメノ), リンコ"}]}]},"item_6_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{}],"names":[{"name":"Kawasaki(Umeno), Rinko"}]}]},"item_6_publisher_35":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"横浜国立大学技術マネジメント研究学会"}]},"item_6_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11629233","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_6_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"13473042","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_6_text_4":{"attribute_name":"著者所属","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"横浜国立大学大学院 環境情報学府 博士課程後期(2012 年9月終了)"}]},"item_6_version_type_18":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"川﨑(梅野), りんこ"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"23267","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-09-20"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"manage12-04.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.2 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"manage12-04.pdf","url":"https://ynu.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/5084/files/manage12-04.pdf"},"version_id":"1f95eeae-d921-4ed6-936f-773076ebbdc5"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"<博士学位論文要旨>ルイ14世(1638~1715)時代の女性表象 : オペラの登場人物“メデ”に見る女性像の変遷","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"<博士学位論文要旨>ルイ14世(1638~1715)時代の女性表象 : オペラの登場人物“メデ”に見る女性像の変遷"}]},"item_type_id":"6","owner":"3","path":["517"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2013-06-12"},"publish_date":"2013-06-12","publish_status":"0","recid":"5084","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["<博士学位論文要旨>ルイ14世(1638~1715)時代の女性表象 : オペラの登場人物“メデ”に見る女性像の変遷"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-20T21:13:34.068714+00:00"}
