There is, however, diversity of usage methods and impacts of 3D design tool among enterprises and countries. This paper aims to compare the impact of 3D design on process change and product development performance among Asian countries by structural equation modeling with the data of the quantitative surveys conducted in Japan and China, 2004 and in Korea, 2008.
