 note = {application/pdf, Laurel forests dominated by Castanopsis cuspidata var. sieboldii or Persea thunbergii are found in Kanagawa Prefectural Odawara Senior High School. They were identified as Ardisio-Castanopsietum sieboldii by Fujiwara phytosociologically (1972). Based upon Br.-Bl. (1964) and Belt-transect methods (Tatewaki, 1952), the authors investigated the most typical community thereof. We also conducted tree census and flora census. In consequence, it turned out that deciduous broad-leaved trees were rich in their variety as well as quantity, despite the area being in the laurel zone.},
